Choir of the Sound is honored to be one of the groups performing in a free concert preceding the 28th Annual Naturalization Ceremony on July 4th at Seattle Center Fisher Pavilion.  We will be singing “Give Me Your Tired, Your Poor,” for which the text is taken from Emma Lazarus’ poem that appears on a plaque at the Statue of Liberty, with music by the great Irving Berlin (himself a Russian immigrant).

The concert begins at 11:00 am and the ceremony is from 12 noon to 1:00 pm. The public is encouraged to attend and admission is free.
