Join us once again for a fun Sunday afternoon at Choir of the Sound’s 5th Annual Bottles & Bites Wine and Food Pairing Fundraiser. It’s such a great way to support your favorite choir while having a fabulous time–but there are a limited number of tickets available, so be sure to get yours soon!
Our theme this year is “There’s No Place Like Home: Washington Wines!” Once again, our “tour guide” is Ray Bloom of Vinum Imports, who has picked unique wines from the world-renowned wine region right in our backyard. Ray has researched wonderful local foods that can be served with these wines, and the North City Bistro staff will be working their magic to prepare versions of classic Northwest fare to taste along with the wines.
Last year we introduced a silent auction to our event, and it was so successful that we have decided to add more items for bidding this year. We have some terrific items, so join the fun and get in on the action!
To celebrate Bottles & Bites’ 5th anniversary, we will be hosting a special social time prior to the “main event” Washington wine tour, complete with sparkling wine and a light treat. This will give you more time to peruse the auction items and enjoy everyone’s company!
Of course, one of our most popular traditions also will be back; beautiful boxes of assorted chocolates hand-made by Ray Smith, our choir’s own chocolatier extraordinaire, will be available for $20.
You can purchase a basic entry to Bottles & Bites for $50, OR choose one of the following “tours” with fabulous additional goodies:
* Silver Tour–$125: 1 entry to Bottles & Bites, Choice of 1 box of Ray’s chocolates or 1 bottle of Washington wine from our tasting selection.
* Gold Tour–$250: 1 entry to Bottles & Bites, 1 box of Ray’s chocolates, 1 bottle of wine from the tasting selection, and 1 season ticket for our 2014-15 season.
* Platinum Tour–$500 ($250 per ticket, purchased in pairs): 2 entries to Bottles & Bites, 1 box of Ray’s chocolates, 2 different bottles of wine from the tasting selection, 2 season tickets for our 2014- 2015 concert season, AND…(drum roll please) 2 SEATS AT A SPECIAL DINNER WITH OUR DIRECTOR JEREMY MATHEIS! This premium tour level is limited to 4 pairs (8 total seats at the Director’s Dinner), so hurry and order to take advantage of this great package!
